Summer months good to farm. The seasonal weather will make it harder to farm during winter months. Warm years, summer is especially good for farming, not many hot months. Cold years, are especial bad the winters are harsh making the soil unsuitable for crops.

Planting Native Crops-In order for the soil to be conserved we chose native crops to plant like oats, rye, and flax-seeds.
3.) Windbreaks- Trees to protect from harsh winds and wind erosion
4.) Selective Cutting-Cutting down trees that are older keeping younger trees to keep the soil from uplifting.
5.)Mulch-Used on every field to increase fertility of soil and to increase the cover on the soil to decrease soil runoff.
