It is a poem about looking at things from different perspectives (a perspective is a point of view).
The poem shows us that we can look at situations from different perspectives and it is a mistake to see something as simple as being just black and white.
It is important to be open-minded and to see things from other people’s perspectives too.

It’s always hard to admit being wrong in a disagreement…but you really do have to put yourself in the other person’s shoes to see life from their perspective – it changes everything.
