Electronic assessment can impact teaching and learning in schools because- 1. Students of today love technology and as a result they will have a natural affinity to those glassy screens of devices. 2. Students love visuals and bright colourful quizzes and lesson plans will be able to coax undivided attention out of them. 3. Teachers will find it very easy to store teaching material and be able to find them quickly. 4. Learning will be more fun for students will be more engaged. 5. Teaching will be easier because there are many templates to work with in creating your assessments. 6. The world is evolving and as a result we have to do electronic assessments because the students’ universe is the digital world and to reach them we need to speak the electronic language. 7. October 20th

Reflection on Session 3 - I think the games/quizes etc are fantastic and I am very excited to use them. I used them in my lesson plan for my clinical supervision. Though I was unable to do the quiz with my students due to lack of devices, my students appreciated my printed visuals and my H.O.D commended me! My ice-breaker (set induction) included a powerpoint for my Form 4 Literature class which I was able to do from the second ICT class which included gorgeous shots of London's River - Thames where William Wordsworth wrote his famous sonnet about Westminister Bridge in 1802. I am looking forward to forging forward with my new buddies Kahoot, Socrative, Flubaroo etc javascript:;

Last Wednesday, I was able to be part of a group where we discussed the Bring Your Own Device to school. I didn't even know that there was such a thing. I am very excited to try out Edmodo with my Form Four Literature class, a few rowdy students only chose my subject to get away from Spanish. I hope I will be able to change their minds about my subject being too boring by using educational technological learning tools. Right now at work, we do not have internet in the staff room. It used to come in so handy but now its gone since this term started.
