1. Their Spiritual Belief
 Egyptians believed in many spiritual things. One of these beliefs was the person on top of the social class, the pharaoh. The pharaoh to Egyptians was believed to be a god/goddess. They would own all of the lands in Egypt, be very well respected, and would have temples built in their honor ("Egypt"). The Egyptians would build huge, tall, stone towers called obelisks. The Egyptians believed the obelisk was the symbol of the sun god. Egyptians also believed that the obelisk connected the king and the ancient sun god. If the obelisk was cracked it was considered broken and wouldn't work ("Egypt's Ten Greatest Discoveries...").

2.Afterlife
Egyptians had their own thoughts about the afterlife. Unlike the civilizations in Mesopotamia Egyptians thought the afterlife was a pleasant place. The Egyptians would build great and glorious tombs for wealthy people and place their favorite items in the tomb with their mummified body (Baines and Malek). One famous case of this is King Khufu's boat which was buried inside his tomb with him. The boat stood at thirteen stories high and was hand carved ("Egypt's Ten Greatest Discoveries..."). Egyptians also believed that there were trials of judgment after the person had died. One of these trials was the weighing of the heart. They would put the deceased's heart on a scale against a feather. If the heart was lighter they could move on to the next trial. The second trial was the person had to plea to 42 different gods. If the gods believed the person didn't do anything terrible they would let them pass into the underworld (Baines and Malek).

3. Nile
Egyptians whole life was based on the flow of the Nile. The Egyptians believed the Nile was an ancient river goddess of the name Nephthys. The Egyptians also had three different seasons for the Nile. 1. Military
Once Egypt had finally risen as a great civilization they didn't have a military for many centuries. They finally developed a good military after they were conquered. Once they were conquered they fought back and eventually gained control again. Egypt then developed a great military. Egyptians soldiers would carry two weapons. One would carry lances and shields. Others would carry bows. Egyptians main way of attacking was their chariots. They adapted their idea of the chariots from their conquerors, the Hyksos. Two soldiers would ride on the chariot. One would drive the chariot and the other would be an archer. Archers would carry 5-6 feet longbows with arrows up to 30 inches long. One of Egypt's main enemies was Persia (Davis).


2. Education
Egyptians had a good education plan. With mostly only men going to school their education wasn't widespread. Part of their education was learning reading and writing and occasionally mathematics. The small possibility that a girl would go to school they would most likely end up a doctor or in the medical field. Most of the schools in Egypt were designed for specific talents like scribes. In Egypt, most of the knowledge the students learn came from their parents ("Egyptian School").



3. Social Classes
Egypt mainly had six different social classes.
The lowest social class was peasants. The peasants class made up of the farmers and laborers. They would get most of their money from working during the first season of the Nile. The next social class was artisans. Artisans constructed the tombs and temples of the pharaohs. The next social class was on the scribes. Scribes were the official writers and record keepers for Egypt. Scribes would have to go through a long learning process. Sadly men were only allowed to be scribes. They would have to memorize 700 different hieroglyphs with four years of schooling. The next social class is priests. Priests were very well respected and very powerful. Their job was to take care of the temples and oversee the embalming process. The second highest social class is government officials. Their job was to assist the pharaohs. 1. Trade from the Nile
The Nile played a big role in trade for Egypt. Since Egypt was an isolated civilization. Since they were an isolated civilization, all of their communities lived along the Nile. With all their communities living along the Nile, all the communities could easily trade with one another by rowing a boat to their trading partners. Egyptians would trade gold, papyrus, linen, grain, and cedar wood. They also had other resources like ebony, copper, iron, ivory, and lapis lazuli (Brier and Hobbs).


2.Farms
Egyptians had great farming land and had a great irrigation system. Egypt had some of the best farming lands because of the fertile soil. Egyptians got this amazing fertile soil from their irrigation system. Egyptians came up with the great idea of digging a canal to help the water move from the Nile to the farms which helped with the fertile soil. Egyptians also used water wheels to help water all the plants. Farmers grew a variety of crops. Farmers would grow wheat, barley, vegetables, figs, melons, pomegranates, and vines (Baines and Malek).



3. Economy from the Nile
The gift of the Nile brought the gift of the economy to Egypt. The Nile provided loads of gifts to Egypt. One of these gifts was fertile land. Another was a variety of crops form the fertile land the Nile gave them. People could use the Nile as transporting goods. In ancient Egypt, for a while, Egypt had a terrible military. As I said Egypt for many centuries Egypt had no resemblance of a. army. Since they had no army they were an easy target for the Hyskos to conquer which they ended up doing. The Hyskos ruled over Egypt for 100+ years, but during those 100 years, Egypt made a very small army and regained their power back (Davis).


Education
In ancient Egypt, they might've had good schooling but there were some problems. One of these problems was the fact that most of the information came from their parents. That means most of the information will be on history and not necessarily relevant information ("Egyptian School"). Most Egyptians like I said, learned from their parents who might have learned things from their schools that had outdated information ("Egyptian School").

Slaves
In ancient Egypt, they used slaves for almost everything. Egyptians had believed that their gods had chosen everyone's positions. In ancient Egypt, the Nile provided loads of good things to Egypt, but also some bad things came along with it. Egyptians whole life revolved around the Nile with even having three seasons based off of it. The Nile eventually caused the downfall of Egypt. The Nile also was a dangerous river to live by. If the Nile were to have its water levels raised it would cause flooding destroying hundreds of homes and drowning people. If the Nile were to lower its water levels the people would starve and die of dehydration. One time the river water levels went too low and killed many and sent the civilization into anarchy. People started stealing more and more things and slowly became corrupt. After Egypt became corrupt it was then conquered after opponents saw this all happening and attacked (Baines and Malek).



Trade
In ancient Egypt, trade was difficult for Egypt. The reason behind trade being difficult was because they were an isolated civilization. Sure, they had other communities along the Nile, but that meant they could only get their resources from their own land.
