"Trevor Noah said it so beautifully last night. There’s a social contract that we all have, that if you steal, or if I steal, then the person who is the authority comes in and they fix the situation. But the person who fixes the situation is killing us. So the social contract is broken." In this quote she is very much referring to police brutality and that the system is broken which leads to the black people feeling targeted by the system and the police.
She talks about how the land was built on 400 years of slavery and the white peoples wealth was built on the backs of black people, and this is how they're repaid.
She finishes off with a very powerful statement, that they are lucky that the black people are seeking equality and not revenge.
