When I was in school, a trainer encouraged me to play in the soccer team. I was not sure about the idea, but I wanted to try it. Several years later, the same person supported me on going to university, and I tried it as well. When I was majoring English at UNA, there was an opportunity to be part of a student exchange. I was not sure about participating, but my dad encouraged me to do it. When I was a child, my second grade teacher advised me to enroll in the science fair. I honestly don't have any idea what i do when i encrypt in the fair, but that teatcher hive me the correct words to inspire me. When I was in high school, I loved to read and write. Neither my parents nor anybody ever cared about what I wrote so I started to lose interest. Then the Spanish teacher called Mayra started to pay attention to my reports, she even took pictures of some of them. I always got compliments from her and I felt so proud that I started to write with more enthusiasm, I became more confident and I was always excited to show her my writings. I really miss professor Mayra so much.

Two years ago, I was in a traffic accident. At the time, I was very discouraged and unsure if I would ever walk again. This made me feel that my mom would always find a way to help me and that there are different ways to learn.

When I took the UCR entrance exam for the first time, the result was not what I expected . I felt very distressed and sad because at that moment I did not know what to do with my life. Worstly, my father had an accident in which he couldn’t take care of me as well. So one friend of my mother took care of me, she gave me a lot of support and love.
