There is a lot of important stuff that I need to know right here. For starters, I need to know how to write if-then statements. I was introduced to Inverses and Contrapositives as well. An inverse is when you use the original statement, but put in "nots". A contrapositive is basically the converse of the original statement, but you add in "nots". That is just a way for me to remember it. We also learned how to rewrite statements in symbolic form.

This chapter was pretty okay for me. I feel like I have a good grasp on most of the learning targets. However, I am a little shaky on the clock problems which I need to study on tonight. I also need to work on converting degrees to degrees minutes seconds. That is just so new to me that I guess a little more practice is needed. I really like writing two column proofs. I like how you have the given information and then you just need to come up with a proof to prove the statement. I can also identify segments, lines and rays. I would say that I need a little more practice on the union problems, but a little more practice should to the trick. I chose these items in the portfolio because I wanted all of the learning targets in one place and I feel like it will help me when I need to take the final exam. They have helped me because when I was studying I just looked at the learning targets and did practice problems based off of them.
