<title>Physics from an underrepresented lens: What I wish others knew (Period 6) by Sheila Morrissey</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/smorrissey10/6eetbm0le4nmn9r4</link>
<description>Whether or not these statements apply to you, they are happening to students around you: My voice is not valued, heard, or recognized in STEM classes. I am both objectified and expected to act in masculine ways. I have to fight against my own subconscious thoughts - created by structural racism and sexism. My role models are mostly white men. Do I belong?

What are your thoughts on the suggested responses? Consider: Does the suggestion surprise you? Has this happened in your classes (K-12, science)? What does this look like? What should it look like in school? What should it NOT look like?
