This story gave me a realization that strangers can be friends. An impact gained from an encounter with a stranger can have a lasting impact in our actions and emotions. The boy in this story made me worried as he started talking to strangers. However, as the writer develops his story, the stranger, who was the woman, appeared to be someone who was pleasant. As the story was reaching an end the biggest question in my mind was, who was the woman? What was she doing in the platform and why she approached the boy? She seemed to be having a soft spot for young boys. This can be seen in the incident in the story where another boy of the similar age tried to cross the platform, and the woman got scared until the boy crossed the platform safely. My assumption would be that, she could have lost someone she dearly loved around the same age and is trying to fill the emptiness by talking to boys of the same age reminiscing her memories.

This book in my opinion exposes the readers to a new retelling of Mulan. I was instantly hooked on the book the moment I started to read it. What makes it more enticing is how relatable the book is as the book is from an asian author. Therefore, the beliefs, architectural designs of buildings, outfit designs are all based on asian culture, which can be refreshing after reading books from caucasian writters. Speaking of outfits, since this book is based on a tailor and her adventures, it is packed with fashion inspirations if that is your cup of tea. With a little bit of imagination, readers can visualise the beauty of fashion from that era. Not to mention, this novel includes a romantic interest which the female main character falls in love with despite his irritable humour.

Well amidst all the ruins, lies a well-maintained cottage of Miss Mackenzie. The garden houses all flowers one can think of in the heaven. Miss mackenzie live there alone. Although a child came later and became good friends with him, but after the child went on vacation, it would take a while to come back. The child gave him a very precious book covering almost all flowers. But in the end she died. This story made me think that old people should not live in ruins by themselves. It also made me know the loneliness and pain of the elderly at that stage.

The most special part in the story is in the last sentence of the story written that the girl was actually blind. I didn't notice that the girl was also blind during their conversation, so I was so shocked when I noticed it, the writer wrote it so well. I think that the man and girl were so brave, they are blind but they went on the train by themself, I think not all the blind people can do it. Also, I think their optimistic personality are worth learning from. They don't feel ashamed or sad because they are blind, they can even travel happily by train. This brief encounter must be the most memorable memory for the man, but maybe nor for the girl because she doesn't know the man are blind too, it is quite a pity.

I feel surprised since Dhuki was so loyal. He worked as the house’s gardener even though the new employer didn’t treat him well and told him to finish his work in a very short time. I think the better choice for him is to resign from the work and live his retirement life. This story also gave me the realization to not marry a man who has a strong sense of machismo. My life would be terrible if there was someone just like that. I have no reason to follow his words on anything. Besides,I probably can’t understand why the boy was rejected by his step father to do something he liked. The boy should resist what had been arranged by his step father because he is not interested in it at all. This story shows a man with strong characteristics and a gardener hardworking on his works. Dhuki’s attitude should be learned to become a better person.

Recently I have read an interesting book. Its title was “ The Jungle Book'' and it was written by Rudyard Kipling .This book is about a boy named Mowgli living in a jungle with his father and mother wolf and a tiger named Shere Khan trying to kill Mowgli for revenge. I like a part about Mowgli's father, mother wolf and his friend's bear named Baloo trying to protect him from Shere Khan and a snake named Kaa. That part is too stimulating and I feel like I was passionate when I read that part .In the last part ,Mowgli and Shere Khan face to face on a tree, that part is too tense,Mowgli almost nearly dead but luckily that branch breaks under the tiger's weight, and Shere Khan falls into the fire to his death. I don't like the part about the tiger trying to disrupt the truce and attack Mowgli. That part almost let me only know about hatred. I recommend this book to others because this book lets us know that unity is strength, it can defeat every trouble. When Mowgli and his friends fight Shere Khan, They win that fight and save their country. This book is about an adventurer and it lets us learn many things about animals world.

Kusuke's parents were under a heavy debt, but they didn't have any money. The loan shark was trying to hunt them down. At the end, Kusuke's parents choose to commit suicide to let Kusuke get rid of the loan shark, but they leave Kusuke alone in this world. I was touched by the love from Kusuke's parents, the love that parents give to their kids is always stupendous.
