The white rose represents President Snow. President Snow always had a white rose is his suit whenever Katniss saw him. The rose always catches Katniss's attention. It symbolizes President Snow and his traumatizing past.

Katniss's bow represents her bravery and fearlessness. Her bow allows her to feel safe and that shes able to protect herself through what she has been through. The bow gives her confidence and strength.

Katniss Everdeen and her fellow tribute Peeta Mellark have won the previous 74th hunger games. Katniss thought that since she won, her life would go back completely normal, however,she was wrong. When she returned home, Peeta turned his back on her completely. Along with Gale keeping Katniss at a distance. To make matter worse, President Snow ordered all of the existing victors to do a reaping of who will go into the 75th hunger games. Unfortunatly, Katniss is the only female victor of district 12. As well as, President Snow saying he does not believe the love Katniss and Peeta have,and saying he thinks it's for the act. Now, Katniss and Peeta have to prove the love they have is real with also trying to stay alive in the 75th hunger games.

Katniss learned the lesson of you never win everything, things and people are lost along the way. I can realate to this because along my life I have lost close friends, because we drift apart over the years. In Psalms 73:26 it says, “My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.” This reminds me when I loose friends, it may be sad at the time, but i will have God forever.

Katniss faces tremendous challenges while battling and going against President Snow. Katniss is trying to prove to all the districts the truth,that they can't trust him and the Capitol. However, President Snow wants to make a stop to this. He later tries several things to make her be quiet,such as, trying to get her killed in the arena.

Throughout the story, Katniss realizes that in life, you never win everything, things and people are lost along the way. She realizes this by seeing how after the games she thought she would've won everything,however, she was wrong. When she returned home everything that was her's was not the same since the games.

Katniss faces enormous conflict when it comes to her and the capitol. Katniss wants to live peacefully after the games,however, the capitol demands her to go back in. This is because they think she thinks that's shes better than the capitol and they want her to stay where she belongs. Katniss later fights against them, proving who they truly are to the districts.
