I used to think that a change in what we need to eat as a law was a sort of good idea. Then I read the first 4 segments of this article, and the way that the Dr. states his belief's is just convincing.

I feel that the government should regulate food and food additives but to an extent. I believe some particular items should be decided by the people at their digression.

I have come to the conclusion that food additives shouldn't be regulated; what people put in their bodies should be their choice, not the governments.

I feel that the Government should have the power to regulate the food we consume however, they will not be so successful. I feel as if it will be like prohibition all over again, the Government will put regulations on but we will have more bootleggers and smugglers and the Government will be forced to remove it's regulations. So, yes the Government should be able to but in the end it will not be worth it so they should not even try.

I feel that if the government were to regulate what we consume, it would not change anything. In my option we do not listen to the government now why would we listen to them when it comes to regulating our foods.

My conclusion states that the U.S gov't should regulate food and food additives because regulations are existent to limit there use, so by the U.S. limiting the food regulations the less causes of diseases.

I believe that it is our chose to what we eat, however if we were to regulate what we could and could not eat it could help with obesity. It could save many peoples lives.
