         <title>Sensorimotor: Reaching for objects</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Sensorimotor refers to the earliest stage in Jean Piaget's theory of cognitive development, and is characterized as the period of a child's life when learning occurs through a child's sensory and motor interactions with the physical environment. The Sensorimotor stage we are presenting here demonstrates the ability of reaching for objects. This ability is acquired at around the age of 3 months. The way we demonstrated this ability was through videotaping our group member playing as an infant grabbing at all the objects around him on the desk. This task showed by one of our group members pertained to this cognitive development because the grabbing for the area surrounding him with picking up different objects showed his 3 month old stage of sensorimotor.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Preoperational: Growing awareness of reversibility </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Being the second stage in the theory, the Preoperational stage pertains to when children begin to engage in symbolic play and learn to manipulate symbols. This used ability in Preoperational stage is usually grown and produced at the ages of 3 to 7. It persists of the child having the growing awareness that there is a reverse in different operations all around them. Our demonstration pertains to the reversibility in math and how the problems can be said in a reverse way. We used the problems 1 plus 1 equals 2 and 3 plus 6 equals 9, then rewrote in reverse with saying 4 equals 2 plus 2 and 9 equals 6 plus 3, to demonstrate how the equations can be said in a different way.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Concrete Operations: Some conservation skills well est.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Concrete Operations has categories that pertain to more analytical improvement and is defined as characterized by the development of organized and rational thinking. The one we chose to demonstrate was the conservation skills becoming present in children around the age of 8. The action made for demonstration below describes as a child, age of 8, making the decision to not use a pencil to write on the white board but instead use the correct tool of writing which is the dry erase board marker. Doing this we gave the point that the child made a wise and more thought out decision on what was best to do with the action the child wanted to do.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>Formal operations: Growing ability to think abstractly and symbolically </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Formal operations persists&nbsp;of someone thinking outside the box and more analytical or mature for certain ideas or situations of themselves or another person. This usually starts to become present at the age of 11 and on. Our group came up with the though that we would demonstrate this idea through giving a definition on the board of freedom. This demonstration that we presented showed the Formal Operations aspect because the idea of freedom is abstract and needs some thought to come up with a good personal description which someone at about the age of 11 and on would be able to process or come up with.</div>]]></description>
