         <title>The for-or-against essay would go like this: I&#39;d write the topic on the board and divide the class into 2 groups (for and against). I&#39;ll give them some time to come up with reasons to justify their position. Then the groups would tell one another their reasons. I&#39;d write a &#39;for&#39; and an &#39;against&#39; column on the board to get both groups&#39; ideas. Then I would give groups slips of paper with contrastive words written on them and have them join both arguments using the words:. </title>

Ask them if when they do they write letters / emails / WhatsApp messages to their friends about it.<br><br>- Ask them what they write about in those messages.<br><br>- Ask them to read a sample letter. Ask them if their ideas were mentioned.<br><br>- Ask them to analize the structure of the letter. How do you open, how do you close, etc?<br><br>- Ask them to think about a recent trip or imagine one they'd like to take.<br><br>- Ask them to write a first draft - maybe for homework.<br><br>- Ask them to check if they included all the elements of a letter and if not, include them.<br><br>- Peer feedback.<br><br>- Rewrite<br><br></div>]]></description>
