I'll give them some time to come up with reasons to justify their position. Then the groups would tell one another their reasons. I'd write a 'for' and an 'against' column on the board to get both groups' ideas. - Ask sts if they like to travel. Ask them if when they do they write letters / emails / WhatsApp messages to their friends about it.

- Ask them what they write about in those messages.

- Ask them to read a sample letter. Ask them if their ideas were mentioned.

- Ask them to analize the structure of the letter. How do you open, how do you close, etc?

- Ask them to think about a recent trip or imagine one they'd like to take.

- Ask them to write a first draft - maybe for homework.

- Ask them to check if they included all the elements of a letter and if not, include them.
