(for example: how do make a tik tok, how to do a lay up )
2 stars:
-clear, easy to follow directions throughout!
-the overview is very obvious to teachers what kids will do

I love that Brian added an extra resource - the shot list - that models how students can plan to create their video. It's a good reminder that the "final" student sample may not be the only additional resource that helps students see what they need to do

2 Stars:
-I LOVE this strategy and can imagine modifying this for all levels (I teach HS, but imagine my 7 and 9 love youtube "how to" and challenge videos).
-I really like how this is broken down and includes a sample video, script, and shot list.

1 wish:
Consider adding a visual element/storyboarding to the pre-planning process so students can visualize shots as they create the script.

Stars...this would be a fabulous formative piece as much as a summative piece. It engages interest and allows for student choice and voice. If I were to have a wish, it might be to have a place for student personal reflection on the strengths and character traits that were key to the stake holders, to consider role models

The shot list and script examples are wonderful! I also like the shot examples you included from B&H. It's really helpful to see what it means when you say wide and closeup, etc. Are there other resources there so they can go more in depth if they really want to up their game?

I wish there were more tips on how to write and record a script effectively. Even some tips on how to be a good voice actor would be very helpful.

I love that this strategy can be scaled up or down in rigor -- you could see someone new to Adobe spark or a younger student making a pretty simple how-to video to get comfortable with the app; you could also see an experienced videographer making a professional-level instructional video.
