What was done well in this section is that Chris made his rules direct and straightforward. He also manage to check for understanding of the athletes which is important in the first part of the gameplay so that they are aware of the rules and conditions of the game. For instance, Chris stated that an interception would result in an additional point being awarded in his rules. Thus, in light of the game's alteration, Chris is presumably engaging in defensive game mechanics. Alternatively, if the team manages to win the ball at their opponent's side, they manage to earn 2 points while if they win the ball from their own side, it is still considered 1 point. On the other hand, his consideration for the playing area is appropriate for a 3 v 3 game as there are spaces for athletes to play and exploit.

Q&A:
During the Q&A session, Chris tries to listen to his athlete’s perspectives of the game by asking them questions. In terms of value questions, he was enquiring with them how they felt throughout the game. What made it significant about Chris during this session is that he tried to lead the players to his objectives. Chris questioned the winning team and how they won the game to listen to their diverse opinions. On the other hand, he asked a convergent question, “Could you tell me the game rules that were different from a normal game?”. By constructing this question, he is enabling the athletes to brainstorm to the objectives or the tactical problem of the game. In terms of engagement, he allows every athlete to share their point of view. Chris’s implementation of the rules made the athletes work on high pressure without them knowing.

Practice:

For Chris’s practice task, he started off with the cues of “Triple A” – approach, anticipate, attack. In his explanation of the drill, Chris managed to link his practice task to his objective or tactical problem which is very good. During his practice task, he also provided personal feedback to his athletes on how to improve their game such as attackers not facing backward. He also provides positive encouragement like “Well done!” when one of his athletes makes a successful tackle. In terms of space, Chris could’ve included a line indicator so that athletes can identify the space area to play. It was indeed a successful football defensive drill.

Game 2:

In this game, he removes the points for interceptions and tackles. Chris also made the right time to freeze the game whenever one of the teams scored. He also questioned the team that conceded why the high pressure failed which provided a diverging response from the athletes. What Chris could’ve done after the replay is to restart from the area where the press fails. This is to ensure athletes know where to position themselves and learn from their own mistakes. He also added a rule of five seconds to the stronger team to handicap them or else the opponent gets the point. Maybe Chris could’ve reiterated the cues to keep reminding them. He also managed to allow them to recall the KCPs at the end of the game.
