We need to place more restrictions on student iPads. You can't play a game on your textbook. Why is it allowed on an iPad? Provide teachers with restriction passcodes to enable app downloading.

Games on the iPads should not be an option for students to add. It is too much temptation for them to ignore.

The opportunity within the school day to present students with a variety of situations that would raise discussion around citizenship and how to be a better citizen.

Maybe even start up a Citizenship photo a day challenge on instagram? Show schools and teachers buying in and modelling positive actions for students.

Have the coordinators come to the school at the beginning of each year to talk to the students about digital citizenship, rights and responsibilities.

Educate parents about the need for students to use their iPad at home for homework. A student should not be told they can't do homework. If students are educated on appropriate and proper use of their iPad as a tool for learning, this should not be an issue.

Get dish racks! Kids leave their iPads/devices in the numbered dish rack slots and get them when they are needed at the teacher's discretion during class.

Have a school based DLP so that teachers in the same school can meet to discuss how they are using tech.
