They claim this pipeline is a multi-billion dollar project that can transfer crude oil faster and cheaper than a train would. This is supposed to greatly enlarge the profit gap for the oil company.

Since the pipeline will bring in millions of dollars each year from taxes, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Illinois will all benefit. The money would improve schools roads, emergency services, and open up about 8,000 to 12,000 new jobs. This will make the United States more energy dependent from countries where relationships are tense like Saudia Arabia and Russia. The United States can make a stronger claim for human right working conditions against these countries.

The water would be contaminated for the Sioux tribe and everyone downstream of the river, causing millions of peoples water at work. Just to be safe and to not cause a panic about the cities water being all contaminated, it is being rerouted under the city of Bismark. An insane amount of oil will flow through the pipe each year. It's about equal to the effect of 21.4 million cars and 29.5 coal plants.

One way he accomplished this was to stop oil manufacturing in the United States. However, this led the United States to be more in debt because we had to import more oil from other countries.

Trump's plan puts a risk at destroying the environment.

I don't think that the pipeline is a good idea. The reason is because of how it goes through the reservations and contaminates all of the water. It also harms our environment and I think it would cost more money to reverse the effect. In my opinion I believe the negatives out weigh the positives and because of that reason, I don't think the pipeline is a good idea.
