Homegrown shows value of nature all throughout the song. Wether they are talking about the sun, trees, or dirt roads. The song says "I've got everything I need" when referring to nature and being outside. 

I choose the quote above because It talks about living in the wilderness and loving it more than anywhere else. It followers her journey at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital starting at her internship year. 

Meredith Grey is a great example of intuition over reason because she always follows her gut rather than the rules/laws. One example is from season 7 when Meredith and her husband Derek Are trying to adopt a baby (Zola). It is a long process and problems arise leading Meredith to follow her gut and steel Zola. 

I chose the quote about trusting yourself because I believe that is exactly what Meredith does. She always followers her gut never what the laws say or what anyone else says.

The movie tells her story as she grows up on an island. She tries hard to follow her dads wishes but as she grows up she struggles more and more. From the time she was little all she wanted to do was be on the water but was constantly told no. 

Moana is a great example of nonconformity because when she gets only she breaks away and follows her own path. She doesn't follow what her dad and everyone else says but rather what she believes is right for her. Moana decided to go out on the water and explore the world. 

The quote about being misunderstood fits in well because Moana is misunderstood by the people of her island. She believes in herself but everyone else views her goals and dreams as dangerous. She does no conform to the ways of her society and finally goes out to do what she believes is right. The quote ends by saying, "to be great is to be misunderstood." The song references how things are just simple when you don't have to worry about what society thinks and things like traffic jams. Everything is just more simple living you life out in nature. 

Simple shows simplified living by saying things like it's five plus five  not rocket science. There is also a line that I think really touches on todays world. It says, "We used to live on Instagram worry bout who all gives a damn."

I chose the quote below because It talks about getting away from society. This relates to the song because I feel as though they both have the same theme. Whats different about Max is that he wants to fix the broken system of healthcare. he doesn't care what other people think and he doesn't need there help. He has strong work ethic and when he sets out to do something he doesn't stop until its done. 

Max shows self-reliance by not delegating his responsibilities. He works non stop and is always checking in on others making sure everything is okay and running smoothly. He has strong work ethic and rarely ever relies on others to take care of him. 

This connects to the quote starting with, "absolve to yourself".
