“To the bone” is a Netflix film about a girl with eating disorder. Ellen (Lilly Collins) is a 20 year-old girl who loves art and she has anorexia. Besides her health problems, she has problems with her mother and her father. All of those things made her develop anorexia but when she meets Dr. William Beckham (Kenau Reeves) her life starts to change.
The director Marti Noxon did a wonderful job working with such a delicate issue. She had the sensibility to deal with the question without romanticizing a serious disease. The soundtrack and the photography are amazing and the actors made a spectacular performance.  They made the film be more touching.  
The film is thought provoking because it makes people think about how many people are going through problems like that, how hard that is for them and those who are around them and no one realizes it. Everyone should see this movie to be more conscious about this issue that is usually considered a stigma.

When she got into the car she said to her mother " this is because these problems exist"
- Like her character, Lily Collins already suffered from eating disorders when she was yong.
