Le GEVA-Sco est un outil de recueil des données et d’évaluation des besoins de l’élève en vue de l’examen d’une demande relative à un parcours de scolarisation, dans le cadre d’une procédure d’interpellation de la MDPH.
Le GEVASCO vise à harmoniser les procédures entre les personnels MDPH (maison du handicap), les personnels éducation nationale et les partenaires extérieurs.
Quand le mettre en place ?
Lorsque tous les dispositifs du droit commun ont été mobilisés (différenciation pédagogique, décloisonnement, prise en charge par groupe de besoins, aide personnalisée, RASED, stage de remise à niveau …).
La MDPH est saisie pour demander l’élaboration d’un Projet Personnalisé de Scolarisation, c’est-à-dire un projet qui spécifie les compensations nécessaires à mettre en place pour permettre la réalisation du parcours de scolarisation.
Pourquoi ?
Le GEVA-Sco permet de recueillir les besoins et compétences de l’enfant en situation scolaire au regard de ses activités d’apprentissage, de sa mobilité, de sa sécurité, des actes essentiels de la vie quotidienne, de ses activités relationnelles ou de sa vie sociale.

Cela permettra d’aller plus vite pour réaliser des « pictoleçons ». Ces pictogrammes peuvent d’ailleurs servir à concevoir des cartes heuristiques pour les mêmes leçons ! Pourquoi cela ne serait-il pas réalisable par les élèves ? Très vite le découragement interviendrait. Car il faut du temps. Beaucoup de temps. Surtout pour les élèves dysphasiques, dyslexiques, autistes… Il s’agit d’une aide à leur apporter et non d’un travail supplémentaire à leur donner. Cela nécessite un résumé de cours donné par la professeur et une mise en scène imposée de pictogrammes.
