         <description><![CDATA[<div>1818 marks the year that Mary W. Shelley publishes Frankenstein. The story gets very mixed reviews and most don't assume that Mary wrote it. By then Percy Shelley and all but one of her five children have died. In 1823 she publishes the 2nd installment of the Frankenstein series and the 3rd in 1831.
