When colleagues can work together and produce something that is even more rich due to your expertise's, that is phenomenal.  We preach collaboration to our students, and Amy and her colleagues also practice collaboration. Bravo. 
Another bend or collaboration that you had me considering was that music is not just audio. My school hosts the deaf and hard of hearing program for the district and our music teacher finds the most wonderful ways to make accessibility to music possible. It sounds like you are doing something similar to engage more students in music through multimedia collaboration.  This is so neat!

I know I have said it before in our conversation circle, but I really wish that you were our music teacher at our school. Your use of technology in music is absolutely fantastic and just blows me away! As I was scrolling your Sutori, I learned about so many cool new things! I love that your district is on board with your ideas and contributes to the success in your music room. The fact that your students can experience music in a variety of ways is absolutely awesome. I especially enjoyed seeing the picture of the child playing the, what I would assume is, jflute. I think I really connected with this because I wanted to play the flute so bad growing up and I could never get to positioning down to make it make sound! The use of instruments is something that my students are really longing for so I think it is neat that you start at such a young age. Maybe I missed this--did you have a keyboarding class before you were able to purchase the nice ones pictured above? Are they in a separate room like a "piano lab?" Has your district seen an increase in band enrollment since investing in introductory instruments and providing earlier opportunities for engagement? I commend you for continuing to push forward and provide new, innovative experiences. The blacklight concert looks SO FUN for both the kids and the audience. Is this a concept you intend to keep around for in-person concerts? I have seen glow sticks and flashing accessories, but never ribbon. Love it! Your kids are lucky to have a teacher that cares so deeply about their experience and enjoyment!

I love the peer supported aspect! When studnts give productive feedback, it can be so powerful and effective. I love using FlipGrid for this. While I do not teach music, a college roommate of mine was a music therapy major at ISU and I found myself thinking back to all of the times she was playing or practicing lessons on my roommates and I to see how things would play out. I can relate to your comment in your description of "feeling like a coach" even though I don't teach music in Ag Edu we incorporate FFA into a lot of what we do since it is 2/3 of our education model that we use (lab/classroom, FFA, Supervised Ag Experiences) and I feel like I am a coach as I watch the kids practice various concepts and work on new techniques that they have learned in any number of their ag classes!
