Begin by rewriting the topic at the top of your paper. This will not affect your score.</li><li>Avoid using je/mon and vous/votre in your essay, instead <strong>use on/son/sa/ses where you would often use “you” in English</strong></li><li>In the introduction paragraph, you should clearly state your opinion in your thesis; avoid using "je" and instead use things like <em>"il est clair que, il est évident que, etc."</em></li><li>In the body paragraphs, it's easy to organize your thoughts by using one source per paragraph. Make sure to cite the source <em>(selon Source 1, le locuteur de Source 3 partageait, etc....)</em></li><li>For the source that does not support your argument, make sure to contradict it with your supports from the other sources</li><li>Conclude your essay by restating your argument; if you feel confident, introduce a new point or use this opportunity to counter argue.</li></ul><div><br><strong>Remember</strong>: this is a <em>persuasive</em> essay, so you MUST express your <strong>opinion</strong> and try to <em>convince</em> others of having that same opinion.
