Hitler’s rise to power started when he involved himself in politics and joined the Deutsche Arbeiterspartei. From there he worked himself up in the party, which later became the German Workers Party. He was an excellent speaker and surrounded himself with people who, like him, were not afraid to use violence to fulfill their political objectives. He then became chancellor and was able to enact certain laws that lead to his dictatorship.

A lot of German people had suffered during the First World War and the Depression because of this Hitler made some economic policies. Here are a few of Hitler's economic policies:

1. The first one is full employment this means that everyone should have a job because of this in 1939 there was no unemployment in Germany.

2. The second is the beauty of work. This was made to make German people see that work was good and that if they could work they should even if this was only made because real wages fell and hours were longer under Hitler.

3. Lastly re-armament, this begun in 1935 this is the idea of 'guns before butter'.
