Every person across the world was personally affected by this pandemic. In either, they suffered from the virus themselves, knew someone who did, or simply spent the past year dealing with lasting effects from their own homes. During the time, people were restricted to their homes unless it was necessary to leave. And, when they needed to leave, for groceries, gas, or medical emergencies, they were required to wear masks. Those few interactions caused many to quarantine when they either were exposed or caught Covid-19. In addition to masks and quarantines, many began to reinforce proper hygiene and cleaning tactics.

As of March 2020, many began to work from home and stayed out of their offices for months on end. People had to cancel or postpone vacations and were unable to visit family in neighboring states or countries. With these restrictions and newly implemented daily activities, cultures stopped physical interactions. Many people learned more about their electronics and how they would use them for their jobs. Loads of people became reliant on masks and now feel unsafe when the don't have them near or on. Lots have now chosen to wear masks even if not needed to, so that them and other around feel safe.

The Covid-19 pandemic caused chaos and fear among many, long before it was declared a pandemic. The government's main job is to keep order and the people of their nation safe. Many countries placed travel bans early on, and nations such as the U.K. still have countries that are off limits. In order to make people feel safe still in their own countries, leaders set forth domestic recommendations and restrictions. Internationally, the WHO (World Health Organization) provides information and answers for a number of topics. Some of the topic include, vaccination information, travel advice, common information about the virus, and strategies for combating the virus.

As the virus spread rapidly through workplaces, schools, and communities overall many were told to stay in their homes and only leave when necessary. The urge to keep people in their homes became costly for many companies, as they had to provide the correct resources for their workers. Soon enough, small businesses and corporate companies alike became strained and could no longer afford to employ numerous amounts of workers. Many are back to their jobs now or are looking for many potential opportunities, but they lose after spending much time with not enough money to sustain themselves. Adults dipped into their retirement or songs fund in hopes of being able to stay in their homes or provide food for themselves and their families. Globally, the pandemic caused many countries to enter recessions, and stock markets plummeted after case numbers started to skyrocket.

When news started to spread of the Coronavirus many became wearing of spending time with friends and family. Especially if they had jobs that could expose them to the virus, some being pilots, nurse, or doctors. Then it became apparent that it wasn't safe to interact with other unless keeping a 6-foot distance of wearing a mask/face covering. For months after, people only saw those within their households, but as restrictions on social gatherings and public excursions began to be lifted many still wear masks for their own safety.

The pandemic definitely brought about struggles, but it also introduced new programs to people. Many before the pandemic were unaware of platforms such as Zoom, Google Meets, and Microsoft Teams, but now some can say they use it daily. As well as public advancement of technological information, the pharmaceutical field began on the Covid-19 vaccinations. As the quarantines started and cities shut down, pharmaceutical companies raced to create a safe and effective vaccination. They halted other projects for medications, flu shots, and now two vaccines have been approved. Many other are underway and the vaccinations are the key to returning to a normal life.
