(1813 BC - 1638 BC)

Abram was a righteous man, a descendant of Shem, born in Ur of Chaldea, who, although he lived in the midst of an idolatrous people, never abandoned the right path, and never stopped worshiping God. God decided to choose a people, which, thanks to special care, would preserve his teachings and prepare for the coming of the Messiah, and chose Abram as the father of that people: “Leave your country, leave your family and go to the land that I'll show you. I will make you the father of a great people, and in you all generations will be blessed. "
Abram listened to God, and set out with his wife Sarah, his nephew Lot, his servants and cattle. After spending some years in Haran in Mesopotamia, he went to the plains of Canaan and pitched his tents not far from Shechem. He lived with his nephew Lot in Canaan but, their flocks became very large, so there came a time when the country did not produce enough grass for them. For this reason, Abraham and Lot decided to separate. Abram went to the valley of Mambré, and Lot to Sodom, a large and rich city, but with bad habits so that its inhabitants provoked the wrath of God.
When Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, the Lord repeated the promise several times to multiply his descendants like the stars of heaven, and yet Abraham continued without having children. Then Sarah took Hagar the Egyptian, her slave girl, and she gave birth to Ishmael. But he was not the son of God's promise. Thirteen years later God renewed his covenant with Abram, changed his name to Abraham, ordered him to be circumcised and told him, through three Angels, that Sarah, although she was already 90 years old, would very soon be the mother of a child, whose offspring would be born the Messiah.
“God visited Sarah as He had said, and did for her what He had promised. Sarah conceived and gave Abraham a son in his old age, in the time predicted by God ”. Before long, Sara gave birth to Isaac, which means laughter. Abraham died at the age of 175.
(Genesis 25: 7-10)
You ask my dad:
Who was Abraham?
He was the father of nations, and was characterized by his obedience and faith in God.

Isaac was the only son of Abraham born to Sarah. He was the longest living of the three patriarchs. He was circumcised at eight days of age.
When he was a child, his father was tested, for which Isaac had to be sacrificed on Mount Moriah, but God, seeing Abraham's obedience, sent an angel to save him, from his father sacrificing him.
When he was forty years old, he married Rebekah, and after the death of his father Abraham, he settled in Beer-Lahai-roi, where his two sons, Esau and Jacob were born.

David was an Israelite king, Saul's successor, and second legitimate monarch of the kingdom of Israel (although Isboset, Saul's son, was proclaimed by the army and ruled for two years in the north until his assassination). He managed to unify the Israelite territory and expand it, until controlling the cities of Jerusalem, Samaria, Petra, Zabah and Damascus. The story of David is presented in the Bible, mainly in I Samuel and II Samuel, while the period that covers his old age and his death is narrated at the beginning of I Kings. He is considered one of the great rulers of Israel and, therefore, an emblematic historical figure.

Jehoiakim was the second son of Josiah, who began his reign after his younger brother, who, although he was chosen by the people, did not follow the teachings of God, for which he was taken to Egypt, where he died. When there was no longer a governor in Judah, Pharaoh Necho II crowned him king of Judah, reestablishing Egypt's rule over Israel. Jehoiakim was his vassal, for which after Necao II was dethroned, he became the vassal of Babylon, however, three years later he rebelled against him. That same year, Jehovah sent troops from different kingdoms to destroy Judah, fulfilling what the prophets said in times past.
