Today Andrew Jackson became the 7th President of the united states! I am so happy to live under his rule! He says we will help fight for the poor and common man. he refer to us as fellow citizens which made made me feel very comfortable and happy that I voted for him. He said, ''A diffidence, perhaps too just, in my own qualifications will teach me to look with reverence to the examples of public virtue left by my illustrious predecessors, and with veneration to the lights that flow from the mind that founded and the mind that reformed our system." this shows he is very humble and doesn't have a massive ego like other presidents do.

Today I saw Andrew Jackson become the 7^th president of the United States of America. He says he will help fight for us with the empty pockets. There were so many people at the Inauguration and so many with a story like me. Jackson is now firing qualified men so that us poor supporters can help him in the government. “Jackson implements the ‘spoils system,' replacing many federal officeholders with his supporters.” He even put some of his supporters in his cabinet. Jackson is Removing all the Federal Bank Deposits and moving them to state depositories. “Jackson orders the removal of federal deposits from the Second Bank of the United States and places them in various state banks, known as ‘pet banks.’” These pet banks hold all the United States money. What will happen to this money. Will the states use the money for their own cause? # What will happen.

OMG!!! Today Thomas Jefferson was in Virginia and he had a doubts about the Constitution, which BTW still lacked a Bill of Rights. Jefferson often butted heads with Alexander Hamilton. Thomas Jefferson also believed that Hamilton's attempts to create a strong federal government undercut the sovereignty of the states, and thereby went against the principles of the American Revolution. This made me feel unsure about Thomas Jefferson working with Hamilton. TTYL

So far, the new president has amazed even me, in the number of ethically questionable choices he has made. The biggest of which (so far) is his use of the spoil system, giving his friends and lackies roles in power, and ones they are truly unfit to have! People are angry as they should be. Senator William L. Marcy, said, “To the victor belong the spoils.” Making fun of the ludicrous idea that a person leading the government feels that it’s ethical to put his friends in power.

Andrew Jackson is now an idiot and a murderer, GREAT!!! This new act is going to kill thousands of natives without time to prepare for the long trail to Oklahoma, on the trail of tears. He defends himself by saying, “Two important tribes have accepted the provisions made for their removal at the last session of Congress, and it is believed that their example will induce the remaining tribes also to seek the same obvious advantages.” What excuse is that? You seriously think the natives want to leave their homes, (the ones we have steadily taken away from them)? And, he says he helps them prepare. That’s BULL!!!! Are amazing president now thinks it's a good idea to get in fights with the South Carolina’s state government, over the tariffs he put in place to supposedly “Help” the country. This is going great, isn't it? These tariffs are unconstitutional by nature, and I am delighted that someone finally stood up to the idea of them. He responds to this pushback by merely saying that a state cannot “annul a law of the United States.” Andrew has the attitude of a stubborn child! This feels like Great Britan all over again.

I practically let out a maniacal laugh of glee when I heard it was over. FINALLY! OVER! Our new president is a trustworthy, loyal, smart, reliable person, (and has a cool name: Van Buren sigh...) all traits “Old Hickory” don't have. I think it's time to memorialize all the questionable money decisions Mr. Jackson made, so we never have to think about them again.  

1. The Indian Removal act. This helped a few poor people get some free land, but I wonder if they ever thought, “how did we got all this land for so cheap with NO Consequences” 

2. The War Against the Bank. This started the economic downfall of the United States, and showed he needed to be right even if it was so obviously wrong. 

3. Paying off the national debt. Who would have thought this was going to cause even MORE problems. 

4. The Specie Circular: This only allowed government land to be bought in gold and silver. Who would have expected this to cause problems when people realized GOLD Wasn't as shiny as they thought it was!!!! 

Anyway, let's celebrate!!!

Thomas Jefferson exchanged letters with his old friends John and Abigail Adams after over a decade of bitter estrangement, But most of his time he would only want to spend time with his daughter Pasty and her twelve children. Thomas Jefferson died of the age 83 July 4, 1826 the 50th Anniversary of the Independence, Jefferson was buried at Monticello. Jefferson is and will always be remembered as one of the most revered and most controversial Founding Father, making him as contradictory in death as he was in life to the Best Friend, Father, Son, President Ever RIP Thomas Jefferson U will always be the Best President Died Or Alive

My ladies and I have heard the recent news of Thomas Jefferson buying out Louisiana😮. My husband is a bit too excited; he's gone out to claim land already!
