The contradictory result from the review of original studies, model and review studies, prompted us to make a calculation of cost-effectiveness using the present caries prevalence in Sweden, effects of the preventive measures according to the literature and cos approximated from the charges used in Swedish dental care. The cost-effectiveness of fluoridated toothpaste-presently 80-90% of the child population brush their teeth daily using fluoridated toothpaste is extremely good (cost per prevented DMFT very low) since the marginal cost for adding fluoride to the toothpaste is almost zero, and the utility of caries reducation from fluoride toothpaste has been well documented in RGT studies of high quality (1).
The review studies, as summarized in Table 2, show that there are contradictory result from studies on fissure sealants (low evidence values), fluoride rinsing (low and moderate evidence values), fluoride varnish (low evidence values), and from preventive programs (low evidence values).
There was only one study of chlorhexidine in caries preventive on primary teeth, which makes it impossible to draw conclusions.
Thus, to conclude, there is presently no proof in publish economic evaluations of caries-prevention according to the criteria used in this systematic review.

"Teaching Writing using think -pair-share viewed from students level of risk taking".
By ningtyas orilina

Summary
Writing takes an important role in the
students’ process of learning English.Based on that research, the TPS method or the think pair share was superior to the DIM or direct instruction method method. However, in the use of a TPS method, a teacher must take notice of the student's characteristics first because it will be difficult to apply to students who take a low risk rate.
So it is better in choosing the TPS or DIM method a teacher must know the characteristics of students in advance so that what is taught is conveyed properly. In addition students are also expected to be active in writing learning activities and learn to adjust to the methods used by the teacher ( the method the teacher chooses ) . indirectly here teachers and students are required or must work together with each other so that learning activities write in accordance with what is expected.

https://padlet.com/tyas_orilina1/Reading

AN ANALYSIS OF STUDENT SPEAKING SKILL USING ROLE PLAY METHOD

by : Fifa Lestari, Fitri Andini Sridatun

Summary :

speaking is categorized as an important skill. That's because people can communicate by talking to others. Even according to Rees (2004) states “speaking is fundamental to human communication”. Communication can help people to interact with others. Basically, action instruments can be classified in speech (Clark & Clark, 1997). Komorowska (2005) as cited in Asyid, Nurdiansyah, and Parmawati (2019) basic aim of language learning nowdays is communication and vocabulary plays an important role in conversation. In line with the above statement, Brown said that speaking is a productive skill that can be observed directly and empirically (Brown, 2004). The importance of speaking has been known by people throughout the world. On the other hand, many people still have difficulty speaking English, Speaking is one of skill in English. There are 4 main skills in English: Listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Speaking skills is a productive skill. Since speaking is a productive skill, it is rather difficult to learn speaking skills. People must enrich their words or vocabulary in order to communicate with the other. Speaking is an active person who usually uses their daily life skills to communicate and share some ideas

Role play is one method for teaching, speaking skills. "Role play can be a very effective tool in the teacher's hands, as its major goal is to boost student participation in the classroom, to promote learning in the theoretical knowledge of a language in practice" (Kusnierek, 2015). According to Rahman, Yassi, & Arafah (2016) "role play permits a lot of students chance to speak since they are the subject of learning, through role play students get a lot of time to speak". Rahayu (2015) also stated that role play is a procedure that involves students taking on a role and carrying out conversations with each person playing their part. It is also highly flexible, leaving much more choice for the exercise of individual distinction, initiative, imagination, and role simulation as well,

In defining role play, Byrne (1986: 115) gave comments that role play is a portion of drama motion. In specific ways, he explained that there are three terms to cover the drama activity. They are mimed (mimicry-memorization), role play, and simulation. He has distinguished the terms as follows: 1. Mime, the members do actions without using words (although as we shall see, this activity leads naturally on to talk). 2. Roleplay, participants interrelated either as themselves in making believe situations. 3. Simulation, that includes role play as describes above, however, for this motion, there is a problem that has been defined for them. As a statement stated above, role play is commonly used in teaching English speaking skills because it makes it difficult for students to communicate with other students, imagination, and their ideas will be presented well.

JOURNAL
https://www.journal.ikipsiliwangi.ac.id/index.php/project/article/view/3167/pdf
E-mai : fifalestari26@gmail.com

             andinifitri112gmail.com

The
objective of the vocabulary mastery is to enable the students to have a good language proficiency in the language skills. The subject was one of the English language teachers at MA Islahul Aqidah Cikalongwetan, West Java. The instruments were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. After investigation the writer can conclude that the response faces some difficulties in teaching listening. Where he faces internal and external factors even teaching listening occurs. Internal factors originating from themselves (he felt that teaching listening was categorized as difficult to teach, he found it difficult to prepare material because he did not provide modules or textbooks from school as a result etc). External factors that come from outside him like; sounds from outside the classroom, facilities that have not been provided by the school committee, problematic media sometimes don't work, and power failure. The findings also showed that in the results of the questionnaire the overall score of the respondents was 2 which showed negative. Negative here means that he actually faces some difficulty in listening.

The first step in applying this method is as in general, learning begins with prayer reading and checking student attendance, after that students are given a little material and direction before watching cartoons, so students are more excited, try cartoon movies that are much loved by students . After students are provided with new material, they start showing cartoon films, so students are expected to discuss what vocabulary students don't understand and write to continue to discuss.

Summary International Journal "The English Scanning Skills of Bilingual and Monolingual Indonesian Student
Why Findland’s Schools Are So Successfull

For many years the school system in Finland has been very successful. In the PISA survey, which compares reading, math and science knowledge of 15 year olds around the world, Finland is not only the top European country but also competes with Asian giants like Shanghai, Singapore and South Korea. But what makes the educational system in this small country so strikingly different from others in the western world.

First of all, the Finish government makes it possible for all children to attend preschool, which comes after kindergarten. Compulsory education begins at 7. Teachers work with their pupils in school as much as possible. They have little homework to do when they get home. When teachers are not with the pupils they spend a lot of time in schools working on the curriculum and new projects. They teach in teams if it helps them reach their goals. That is why dropout rates are low compared to other countries.

In contrast to other nations teaching in Finland is a highly admired profession. Finland selects its teachers very carefully. Only talented students go on to a university and receive a master’s degree in education. Finland only takes the best to educate its youth.

Schools in Finland are small, at least for international standards. More than in any other country teachers are ready to prepare children for life. In some cases they know every pupil in their school and can adjust to them. Teachers try everything to succeed with their pupils. Most of the pupils get additional help in their elementary school years, either by the teachers themselves or through specially trained educators.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amienkim.wordpress.com/2014/01/25/articles-about-education/amp/

This study sought to investigate the difference of coded and uncoded indirect feedback on
students’ writing score. Coded corrective feedback is the use of coded sign to indicate
students’ written error. In this type of feedback, the students get the clue of the location and
types of their error. Meanwhile, uncoded corrective feedback presents only sign to the
students’ written error without any clue about the location and type of errors. It needs self-
understanding on how to revise the errors. This is a quasi-experimental study, where a
control group is compared with an experimental group with procedures of pre- and post-
treatment.
The result of descriptive statistic revealed that indirect writing corrective feedback
statistically improved the students’ writing score. Furthermore, there was a significant mean
difference in students’ score between the students who were given coded and those who
received uncoded writing corrective feedback.
After conducting this study, it is suggested for further research in the similar field as this
study to consider applying other type of written corrective feedback in order to have better
approach in improving students’ writing skill.
