10 years ago, Australia had a mining boom , now they have a two-speed economy. This new economy comprises of NSW and Victoria. Two-speed economies are industries that experience unevenly distributed rates of growth. 
Australia has had a history of a very unstable economic growth in recent years (10 years) however compared to Iran it has had many economic expansions and booms followed by steep, steep downturns and recessions. The current economic situation of Australia's economic growth, it is expanding whilst Iran's economic growth is currently declining which is predicted continuously drop like before. 

The tax rates in both countries are relatively the same but Australia's taxes are more regulated than Iran's making it harder to evade tax, because of this, Australia provides more government benefits such as easy access to loans from official sources and general benefits that can improve a business.

It suddenly had a downturn at July 2016 (0.5%) but then had a huge recovery and went up to 1%. 
This shows that the consumer and business confidence was at a steady rate until a massive downturn affected them.
