However by the time I was in high school they put me in all AP classes. I didn't like it. it had a severe affect on my mental health. almost to the point I was this poster child for AP classes. they cared more about the grades I brought to the school instead of me as a person. I almost did not go to college because of it. -Alexis

In high school I was tracked into taking all honors classes my freshman year. I did not know why I was taking all honors classes. I feel like this is because I have always had good grades and honor roll. Although the one class I struggled in was honors biology because I did not have previous knowledge on the topic. No one could understand why I was struggling because "I always had good grades".

I was tracked in elementary school due to reading. Spanish was the only language I knew how to read, so they would take me out for a couple of hours to learn how to read in English. Years later the only AP class I took was AP Spanish- go figured.
