I didn't like it. it had a severe affect on my mental health. almost to the point I was this poster child for AP classes. they cared more about the grades I brought to the school instead of me as a person. I did not know why I was taking all honors classes. I feel like this is because I have always had good grades and honor roll. Although the one class I struggled in was honors biology because I did not have previous knowledge on the topic. Spanish was the only language I knew how to read, so they would take me out for a couple of hours to learn how to read in English. I was the only one sitting, while the two adults hovered over me, asking me a bunch of academic questions. I remember feeling scared and so I never answered anything. S.U.N is Serving Unique Needs (S.U.N.) Program for Gifted and Talented. Usually, parents can request it but my parents did not know what it was or that they had placed me in this class until my parent-teacher conferences.
