         <description><![CDATA[<p>Haiti was invaded by Christopher Columbus when they began to fight for their independence. They had many long and hard fought battles between the Haitian military and the British army. On January 1st 1804, Haiti gained it's independence. After gaining independence Haiti became the first country governed by slaves. Soon after, America became allies with Haiti during America's Civil War.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Toussaint Louverture added Louverture to his name which means "opening". This is used to show his great military successes. Jean-Jacques Dessalines was the emperor of Haiti when they gained their independence. Oftentimes, continuing many of Toussaint's policies. Henry Christophe was a war leader in Haiti's fight for independence and later became president. However, afterwards he became a self proclaimed King.</p>]]></description>

Oftentimes German students would volunteer to help in these alliances fighting for Prussia. The main enemy the prepared to fight was Napoleon and France.</p>]]></description>

Because of this Napoleon easily invaded all of what we know as Italy. After invading he decided to make it all one country. This country is now know as Italy.</p>]]></description>

King Wilhelm I of Prussia also played a very vital role in the Revolution of Germany.  He was Bismarck's greatest supporter in his work and strategies. General Helmuth von Moltke had a great military mind. He led countless victories that helped strengthen Prussia as well.</p>]]></description>

Count Camillo di Cavour was a very intelligent man and knew his way around. King Victor Emmanuel II he was the first king of the new unified Italy during 1861. He was very supportive of Garibaldi and Cavour which helped them tremendously.</p>]]></description>
