I really liked this course and I learned a lot. What’s best is that I can study the subject a bit more with all the references and further readings suggested. The Innovation Plan is a great help to create action plans for schools and gives people a clear vision of the problems and work that needs to be done. Perhaps we can also create a learning community with the participants in this course aimed at developing a joint, collaborative innovation plan. ;-)

I liked the course and I have learned with it and with the comments of the participants. I consider the innovation plan a very useful tool and one that should be used in all schools. I think that what Celeste proposes to create a learning community with the participants in this course is very interesting.

As a final balance, I would like to say that I enjoyed the course and learned from the comments of my colleagues. It is important to have a clear vision of what an innovation plan is, as it is a big step towards initiating change.
I agree with the creation of a learning community with the participants of this course, suggested by Celeste, as we saw that sharing is one of the actions to consider.

I have found this course very interesting and the opportunity to be guided to create my first formal innovation plan ever and being reviewed by ir was very good. Reviewing others has forced me to reflect as well, so peer reviewing, when taken seriously is an excellent tool.

Although I have never fancied a leading position at school but I admit that to innovate with others, you need to take a leading role to be accepted and to make the plan be implemented. The course has met my expectations and I thank the opportunity of being part of it.

I thank you all for letting me learn from you. I wish your innovation plans become the first sparkle towrds succes in your schools.

I- The course met my expectations. The listed goals were surpassed. This was largely due to the documentation and viewing of the videos.
Opportunity to self-evaluate myself as a leader of an organization that wants to learn. The school is now conceived not only as another social organization, but as a specific type of organization, with its own purposes, values, norms and behaviors, with specific spatial, psychological, social and cultural territoriality. According to Nóvoa (1995: 16), more than ever, “the processes of change and educational innovation pass through the understanding of school institutions in all their technical, scientific and human complexity”.

II- Leadership can promote an educational organizational culture, making each and every one feel responsible for their work and for the organization itself; improve the relationship between people; make informed decisions; increase team spirit and cooperation. In other words, more than an individual commitment, it must be a commitment to collective mobilization.

- Leadership can be understood as part of a set of relationships (environmental, personal and organizational) that combined influence the proper functioning of the School.
- Effective leaders promote a strong sense of shared vision of the future; they lead to learning, but always trying to learn from others; they share and distribute leadership, promoting the “emporwerment” of others, as well as the mutual collaboration, evolution and growth of the organization. Thus, the role of educational leaders, top or not, is essential because it encourages the entire school community to participate in the development of the organization.
- The leader who promotes good relationships, who advocates the voluntary sharing of knowledge, who promotes a spirit of mutual help and is based on positive information, will result in change, innovation and educational progress, in the case of leadership in an educational context.
