Last week's snowfall was truly historic; I have never seen so much snow! We had 6+ inches at our house; the dogs absolutely loved it! We still had quite a bit of snow at our house in the shady areas until yesterday when it finally warmed up enough to melt it. I enjoyed seeing so many pictures and posts on social media of people enjoying the snow and spending time with their families and friends.

Because of the super cold conditions last week, the four Rogers' Labs had to stay in the cabin each night. Because Hinson is a puppy and still likes to destroy things, this meant I spent those nights with them in the cabin.

Since the weather was very cold, I had a hard time doing yard work. There were huge trees in the yard I had to move so the snow only became a problem for me. Other than that, the snow was tolerable.

During the first couple of days the snow was fun but got annoying after awhile. This is because during the first two days we would drive around and use a knee board slide down the hills. We also tied the tube to the back of the ranger and rode around. This got boring after awhile because the snow kept getting in my shoes and it continued to get colder. Overall, it was the most fun due to the days we missed.

The snow lasted for 4 days, and was very pretty. The only problem with the snow was that it made my fingers and toes turn purple and it kept going down my rubber boots. Once I had made enough snow balls, I stayed inside the house with the warm heaters!

There were more days off than usual, but nothing exciting really happened. The free time is nice, yet there wasn't much more to do with all the time in my own hands. Being the only one in the building for most of the day, I couldn't even go outside because it wasn't safe. It definitely felt colder, even if the air conditioner is at the same temperature because it has been slightly malfunctioning. Due to not being to go outside, I was just shut in as usual.

During the snow days, I had a lot of fun. Most days I played outside with my puppy or cousins and if I weren't outside, I would play inside. Even though it was very cold, I stayed outside for more than two hours a day. To me, snow days are fun filled days that many should enjoy and there should be more even if school's cancelled.

The snow was originally very exciting. We waited outside until it actually started falling and then we cooked a bunch of duck on the grill. That night we made a pretty big snowman and then the snow started falling in clumps. Although it was fun at first, that morning we woke up it had sleeted on top of the snow so there was a large ice layer over all of it. The day after t went back to regular snow essentially because of the top layer melting, so our whole family had a snowball fight. The only bad part was the 3 day curfew, which is why I think snow would be more fun in a place prepared for snow.

I was very excited that it had snowed for the first time since 2018! It was very exciting for the first 2 days but it started to get boring because roads were shut down, the internet was messing up, and it was extremely cold. I enjoyed sliding down the hill and throwing snowballs. Overall I rate it a 8/10, i would hate to live in the snow everyday during the winter time.

The night the snow started to fall, it felt very surreal. The next day when I woke, there was no grass to be seen in my yard and the ice was very crunchy. The next was Thursday and my older brother and I decided to go on a walk down our street. On the walk, there was a hill with black ice and my brother decided to slide down the hill and left me on the top. He yelled for me to grab him to pulled him up the hill, and then I slid down the black ice. Other then my tumble, my snow days were great!! During the few snow days we had, my family and I made snowmen, snowangels, and played games. It started snowing very little around 5 on Tuesday and by 7 there was flurries and it was covering our street. The snow had been sleeted on over the night and it covered everything in a large layer of ice. We were going to get a raft and slide down the hill we have on our street, but it had a hole in the side so it wouldn't inflate. the snow was beautiful over the next few days and a few areas behind the trees still have snow. It felt like a second winter break and I hope it happens in the future.

On Tuesday, just before it snowed me and my family stood outside and watched. We waited thirty or so minutes until it started, and played with the little snow that fell from the sky before going inside for supper. While eating supper I convinced my parents to open the curtains In front of the window, and when they did it revealed an inch of snow. After waiting we ran outside and sled in our backyard down our little hill, and created a few snow balls. The next morning our entire neighborhood was alive, and most of us were sledding down the main road in our neighborhood. My friend came over and we went to look at our lake which was mostly frozen. My dad, My friend, and I explored the forest behind our house, following deer tracks that shown in the snow. In the afternoon I went to my friends house with my brother and we had a large snowball fight. We later returned home to sit inside in comfort with hot chocolate for the rest of the night. Over the next few days I played little with snow going outside every now and then to play with my family. my final farewell to the snow was me going outside to throw a few final snowballs.

When I first heard that snow was coming to Thomasville, I was skeptical of this idea since it had only ever snowed once and that time was just a flurry of snow. When I saw the snow start to fall it made me really excited because where I was born it snows all the time but we moved away from there to Thomasville when I was 1 so I never really got to experience playing in the snow. Last time it snowed in Thomasville 7 years ago, I didn't get to go outside before all the snow stopped falling and melted away. Me and my sisters had fun throwing snowballs at each other, making footprints in the snow, and pulling up ice from the road and breaking it. I hope to have another snow day in Thomasville someday like the one we experienced last week.

It started snowing at my house right when it starting getting dark and we went out side and watched it. Then we went inside until it starting building up to play in it. It was very fun we pulled each other around on a board with a rope then warmed up. We had a great time and the next day we flew a drone around and took pictures. We had a very good time!

Playing in the snow was so much fun. Thankfully we got the rest of the week off from school. In the morning me and my friend got on our fourwheeliers and we went drifting in the snow and we are donuts. We also tied a rope behind our four-wheeliers and pulled each other behind until we could sling each other off. The snow stayed for a couple of days so we were able to play for a little while. I was so glad that Mother Nature blessed us with this snow because I did not have to go to school for three days. This was only my second time seeing snow that was this high on the ground. Since the snow Thursday morning would not stick it was hard to make snowballs or snowmen so we had to treat the snow like it was sand at the beach. Thomasville may never see snow like this again so let's always remember the great snow days we had.

The snow was a lot more than expected since we never get this type of snow in the South. It started snowing Tuesday after dinner and snowed all through the night. My dad had to wake up early on Wednesday morning to go to the fire station, so he had to keep on going in and out of the house to attempt to get all the snow off of his window. That morning after we all woke up and had breakfast, we went outside to enjoy the snow! We made snow families and just played outside till lunchtime. Thursday and Friday were about the same. The snow was super pretty. It was fun the first day or two but after the third day, I was just ready for it to be gone. It was not very fun because the snow was more icy and less of the build-able snow. We still played in it but we stayed inside where it was warmer than outside.

I liked the snow because we got to miss school and hang out with freinds. Ive only seen snow twice so it was really fun.

Whenever it started snowing, I was already waiting outside with my mom. It was pretty cool to see the snowfall, but it looked nothing like how they make it out to be in movies. Despite that, the snow was extremely fun to play in. Eventually, my brother came outside, and we had a snowball fight. Then, some of our neighbors from across the street asked my brother to have a snowball fight, my brother isn't the most social person, so he ignored them. We have a Husky named Roxie and she loved the weather to the point where we could hardly get her back inside. I personally thought the snow was awesome.

It started snowing right when the sun was going down. It snowed about 4 inches. We went sledding down hills on Wednesday and Thursday.

I had a wonderful time in the snow. I got almost 5 inches of snow! I also got to build a snow man and have a snowball fight with my family. I also made a makeshift sled out of a cardboard box and went down a hill pretty fast.

This was definitely a day I will never forget it was so amazing and fun. The sunset the day after was so beautiful I was so glad I was able to capture that moment. My dog loved playing in it he had so much fun but he was super cold. I'm honestly glad it gone now thought but I do hope it happens again in the future.

There was a MASSIVE amount of snow that came from the sky. Most would say it was a late white Christmas. No matter the reason it snowed i'm glad it did. we got to miss school and me and Holton pushed ranked. It was the first time it snowed in 7 years. It was a cool experience.
