i learned that teams lost as teams it is no ones fault, its the teams fault. And i think that the best part of the lessons is the debating. Beacause debating helps me to express what i am thinking,or feeling about the motion. Throughout the lessons, their is NEVER a time that i am proud of myself. Beacause even if i win, i STILL make mistakes. When the motion is given, i should ask myself if i understand the motion. And lastly, i feel that my classmates are all friendly, and easy to talk to. And my teachers are easy to understand, and are very supportive. -kim khue venus

What have you learned? Tell me what do you think is the best lesson? Why?
I learned to rebutt better! The best lesson for me is the motion: Plastic surgery do more harm than good and I was in the negative team. I love that lesson cuz that’s a lesson that I can learn a lot, being reflective from that lesson (especially after watching 2 videos!) and that was the first motion that I can teammate with Minh Ngoc! I was always interested in her and teacher gave me a chance to work with her. Thank you a lot, Ms. Hiennnn!
What makes you most proud of yourself?
I’m proud with THE EFFORT THAT I PUT IN MY TASK. I just love the time that I put all of my effort into making the essays for the debate. I know that I always try my best and even when I lose, I still feel proud of myself and my whole team.
What should you improve more?
I should improve in every thing. Nothing’s perfect but improving is never spared. I tried to improve every day from the comments of teacher and motivate myself when I’m nervous to battle with the opponent team, and I love to improve to be the best version of myself.
How do you feel about your classmates?
I feel proud of my classmates! They are so nice and responsible. Also, they are really good in their case-building, evidence, rebuttals… I can learn a lot from them and I love it when I can work with anyone in this class.
How do you feel about your teachers?
I feel proud, toooooo! I loveee Ms Hien, Ms Linh and Mr. Minh (I didn’t know when did he disappear from this class, I miss him) They are the best debate teachers and judges that I ever met. They helped to connect our team and pointing out our mistakes, not to reprimand us, it’s helping us to improve and be better. Now, I still feel lucky when I have teachers like them❤️

I’m very happy when I can study with my friend and teacher Hiền. Teacher hiền is a good and nice teacher. That is because she teach me a lot of thing in debate, if I doing something wrong she can help me. My friends are very kind, helpful and smart. In debate I need to improve in rebuttal, first speaker and need to speak loader. I can know what is debate mean though teacher Hiền lesson. I am very proud at me because sometime I won at the debate and know what is debate, and how to debate. I’m very love debate and like my teacher and friends. I hope l can study with my teacher and friends more

I have learn a lot about debate, which subject my mom says that it's very good for my life to find job because of speaking skill. We discussed and rebutted others about motions, which make me more confidence somehow and think way more logic. I like the rebuttal lessons best, it makes me 'argue' and speak more even-tempered and smart. Another, i like lessons about beauty too, but sad that i don't have a really good speech to develop the ideas.
I proud about my voice and my better way to speak in front of people, also my idea(??). It shows a lot as i took ''evidences''( common sense) while argue to the friend - who- has- left -her - 1- time-friends many times , also explain better.
I must improve all. BUT FIRST, how to explain clearly.
I'm really admire my classmates. Then, I will prepare and practice more. From ms.Hien speeches, i have so many points to learn from them. I admire Nha Uyen the most, her debate is so sharp, her confidence, too.
I really like my teachers, they have taught me many important things and they are very very super good at debate, speak out without prepare and i would do my best to learn from them. ( MS. HIEN ><)

- i have learn about speaker role, evidence,rebuttal and more but for me the best lesson will be the speaker role because it is the one who help me alot

-the thing that make me proud of myself is how i learn about new things.before i don't even know what is debate but now i can complete the work of a speaker

- i think i need to improve about explanation -i feel my class is very smart,kind and intelligent- my teacher is very kind when i have a mistake she will remind me gently.

-I learn how to do teamwork and case building . My favorite lesson is the lesson teamwork because I can learn how to do more better with my team

I feel proud when I can be more confident stand in front of everyone to talk and I see that my voice skill is better than before
I see I need to improve my voice because sometimes I speak a little bit too small that no one could hear clearly
I feel that everyone is very friendly, funny and always help me when I have something difficult to do
I see my teacher Ms Hien is very friendly always help us do something we can’t do and answear every question to make us understand I very happy when I learn this debate class.
