Just like in the play if we didn't know what Caliban did we would think that Prospero is a horrible person but it turns out that Caliban tried to assault his daughter.

Topic: Perspective+ A situation can be made easier and worth the ache for something or someone on your mind. Especially when a situation is ill in nature.

In the play Prospero makes Ferdinand collect tons of logs but he seems to be fine with it He even explains more stating how it is worth it and he ends up being fine with it because anything is worth Miranda.¨This my task would be heavy to me as odious, but the mistress I serve quicken what's dead and makes my labors pleasures¨(Shakespeare 3.1.4-7)

Topic: Power+ If someone gives you praise and offers you power maybe they are just disheartened because of a situation they are dealing with. This is true only when someone is being controlled or used by someone in power.

In the play, Caliban instantly gives praise and calls Stephano lord and master and offers to kiss his feet. Stephano doesn't know that his current master is a "tyrant" and takes advantage of Caliban. Although Caliban doesn't know or think it Prospero is a better leader because he is smarter and can provide more. "I’ll show thee the best springs. I’ll pluck thee berries.

I’ll fish for thee and get thee wood enough. A plague upon the tyrant that I serve. I’ll bear him no more sticks, but follow thee, Thou wondrous man"(Shakespeare 2.2.167-170).
