Grocery prices have spiked during the pandemic — Here's how long it could last

• This relates to social justice principles in equity and access
• Equity: The rise in groceries can affect equity because not everyone has the same opportunities when it comes to paying higher than normal for food 
• Access: Access also relates to groceries having higher prices since if you are in a position where you can't be accessing groceries easily, this will be another obstacle on top of that.

• My own proposed solution is that it should fix itself, we just need to inform the people. They said in the video that we are not producing less food which only concludes to the fact that the food is more expensive because supermarkets/grocery stores are taking advantage of the high demand. When people run out of money. Since some are left jobless, this will only make supermarkets to lower their prices because people will stop buying as much food

•  What I suggest is to waste as little as possible in food. This will help in two ways. First it will help an overall reaction of prices going up making the grocery stores realize that this is harmful for the people lowering the prices again. Second, if it doesn't happen as fast as predicted this will make you spend less money having more money when promotions of food are said to come.
