Didn't use mythological scenes and did daily life portraits (highest class) and also landscapes but that portraits had lower value (lowest class)
In their paintings used techniques such as oil painting, and the main authors of this paintings were: Jan Van Eyck and moreover Rogier van der Weyden that was specialized in the expression of person's feelings.
