Vital Functions 

  • Body temperature changes according to the temperature of its surroundings.
  • The fishes take their oxygen through the beanquias.
  • They are oviparous, because they reproduce by laying eggs.
  • Most fish are carnivores but there are some that are herbivores.

THEN THERE ARE TWO OTHER TYPES: 

  • Cartilaginous fish: The gills open directly to the water.
  • Bony fish: The gills are protected by a cover opeculum.
