         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>The Losar Festival, the Nyokum festival and Sangken </strong>are the main festivals of Arunachal Pradesh. Arunachal Pradesh is home to several tribes that have distinct cultures and traditions. Tibet and Myanmar influence their culture.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>LOSAR FESTIVAL</strong> : The term “Losar” translates to “new year” in Tibetan, marking the beginning of the lunar new year in the Tibetan calendar. Losar is <strong>a time of spiritual renewal, cultural festivities, and familial gatherings, typically lasting for several days</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>NYOKUM FESTIVAL : Nyokum</strong> is a festival celebrated by the <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="mw-redirect" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nyishi">Nyishi</a> tribe of the Indian state of <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arunachal_Pradesh">Arunachal Pradesh</a>. The Word Nyokum has been derived from the combination of two words - <strong>Nyok</strong> means land (<a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earth">earth</a>) and <strong>Kum</strong> means collectiveness or togetherness. Therefore, the Nyokum festival may very well be interpreted as inviting all the Gods and Goddesses of the universe, with the Nyokum <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goddess">Goddess</a> as the principal <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deity">deity</a>, to a particular venue at a particular time. The festival is commonly celebrated by the people from all class and walk of life for better productivity, prosperity and happiness of all human beings.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>SANGKEN FESTIVAL</strong> : The Sangken is the festival of <strong>the Khamtis</strong>, who reside in the plains of Lohit district. It is an occassion to give bath to the images of lord Buddha ceremoniously. The festival is celebrated every year in the month of April to welcome the beginning of the New Year.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Arunachal Pradesh dresses of women typically have a <strong>sleeveless chemise, accompanied by an embroidered jacket with long sleeves</strong>. A skirt or petticoat is worn under it. Their outfit is considered incomplete if it lacks a “mushaik” or waist-coat.</p><p><strong>Brass bangles</strong> are common. On their feet, women wear cane anklets. Necklaces made from coins also are much favored by the Adi women. Adi shell necklaces ashier are regarded sacred and more valuable than other ornaments because they're handed down from mother to daughter through many generations.</p>]]></description>
