I am lucky to have had a diverse music career and I have played in  professional symphony and opera orchestras, musical theater pits, taught students of all ages, and even worked as a choir conductor. I have be involved in teaching throughout my professional music career, and I aspire to build a new career path that combines music, librarianship, education, and technology. I strongly feel that there needs to be more digital literacy instruction in higher education, and I hope that taking the courses in this certificate program will prepare me to assist students by building online courses that deliver instruction on digital literacy, humanities, rare book preservation, and music librarianship.
