When I read the text for the first time before I read the guiding questions, I only read the content that the book had. When I thought about the reason the author would write certain things, I started to notice intersting things. Since an author would usually only write about topics which interest him or he has a connection with, Dr. Seuss must have an interest in utilizing his imagination. One's imagination always has a starting point and in this book it is mischevous playfulness. These two words are also a part of the author's personality, so it seems fit that his book shares the same charecteristics.
