Promoted to general command of the brigade.<br>Hood has a reputation of a talented field commander. Also Hood was rapidly promoted throughout the confederate army. He graduated from West point. He was injured during Gettysburg. Then he was injured again at Chickamauga. He then died of yellow fever just after his wife and eldest son.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
