  • I chose a class about Batman because I love films about super heroes.

  • Watching is easier for me because I can see people talking (+ subtitles).

  • Yes, the lesson matches with my interests.

  • Most of all, I like the task with completeing the dialogue, and the task with idioms. I don't like writing tasks. The topics for essays are difficult. But luckily there's an example of an essay with good advice.

    I prefer to listen and to have subtitles at the same time.


    It doesn’t really match with my daily preferences, but for me it's like an immortal classic.


    I liked the completeness of each task and the logic of the sequence. I prefer the visual part (images, etc.) to be more rich and colorful.


    My level of English is something between B2 and C1.


    I found this lesson a little easy for my level, but at the same time learned some useful words and expressions from it.


    I appreciate the effort Elvira put into this lesson, it’s immediately clear for me that she has this passion for teaching languages, and that she has her own style in teaching.

It gave me nostalgic feelings and it was a great opportunity to brush up my memory regarding discriptive language.


    Both listening and watching are easy for me.

    I like the website given. The tasks were easy and didn't take much effort to complete.


    I have C1, that's why I suppose, the lesson doesn't suppose to bring any progress to me.


    I can't say that the lesson follows the plot of the film (as the idea was, I assume). It's more oriented on one's memories concerning the full story. If a person didn't watch the film, they wouldn't be able to complete the majority of tasks. Anyway, I'm grateful for having all books for free now. Overall, a great job has been done but there's a room for improvement.

  • Listening for me is easier but watching with subtitles is pretty bearable.

  • I like that Elvira gave all of the links for watching tasks. There's no need to watch the film fully to complete all of them - you can watch an extract only to do the activity.

    I really liked the structure and design of the lesson. The only thing I didn’t like is writing task because I prefer to discuss everything.

    I have an intermediate level and this lesson perfectly matches with my level of English.

  • I have never checked the lyrics of this song. Suppose, it was high time. That's why I chose the class.

  • I like new-school rap, but don't mind listening to old-school as well. So, in general, I'm satisfied

  • Visual part. It's obvious that Elvira designed everything neatly and in detail. That means a lot to me as a student. I'm not sure about writing poems/creating mood boards (the last task) but it's just me - not a person of the arts (except for music)
