Explanation: Bulimia is a life-threatening mental illness. When someone has bulimia, they avoid eating for most of the day, then they eat as much as possible, throwing it up at the end of the day, and most likely not getting all the nutritions they need from the food.

Symptoms include: preoccupation with body weight, fear of gaining weight, eating a lot of food at once repeatedly, a feeling of not being able to control binging, forcing yourself to vomit or exercise to much to gain weight, using laxative drugs when unneeded, fasting between binges, dietary supplies or herbal products to lose weight.

Causes: Feeling badly socially about how your body looks, adolescents get it from family weight problems, also mental health problems and genetics causes it too, teens also get it from having a lot of stress in their families, poor communications, and unreal high expectations and bad problem solving skills, Sports/activities which leanness is emphasized, and sports with partly subjective scoring, teens that have other mental health problems and substance abuse problems.

Treatments include: Nutritional counseling, psychotherapy, medicine can also help but psychotherapy combined is recommended.

Interesting Facts:
Bulimia might be Genetic. You might a higher risk of getting Bulimia if you had a parent who had Bulimia. People aren't 100% sure though if it is genetics or your environment.

Sources:
Google,
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/bulimia/symptoms-causes/syc-20353615,
http://www.childrenshospital.org/conditions-and-treatments/conditions/b/bulimia-nervosa/symptoms-and-causes,
https://www.healthline.com/health/bulimia-facts#2.

Episodes of mood swings may occur rarely or multiple times a year. While most people will experience some emotional symptoms between episodes, some may not experience any. There are several types of bipolar and related disorders. They may include mania or hypomania and depression. Symptoms can cause unpredictable changes in mood and behavior, resulting in significant distress and difficulty in life. Bipolar disorder is treated with three main classes of medication: mood stabilizers, antipsychotics, and, while their safety and effectiveness for the condition are sometimes controversial, antidepressants. Interesting fact is that Bipolar disorder can occur in children as young as age six.
