Hot Seat The teacher places key reflection or probing questions on random seats throughout the room. When prompted, students check their seats and answer the questions. Students who do not have a hot seat question are asked to agree or disagree with the response and explain their thinking.

Exit Tickets are a missing piece to my online classroom. I notice students are not asking as many questions (although I KNOW they have some!). Many students will use the private chat to send me questions because they are nervous to speak up. Using Google Forms or Padlets may be a safe and comfortable way to encourage more students to ask questions.

I think that specific statement tells a lot about where kids are at with their learning based on their social and emotional state. I really liked the misconception check. Entry and Exit Tickets through Google forms, polls everywhere or padlet.

Low stakes quizzes or polls- I see this used a lot in the middle school with Kahoot and Quizlet!

Interviews (in a traditional school year) using a TAG method:
Tell a peer something they did well
Ask a thoughtful question
Give a positive suggestion 
And for our more introverted students use of FlipGrid, Explain everything or SeeSaw could be utilized.
