That happened to me when I took my first English class, most of my classmates were adults already and the teacher was adapting the classes to them so there was a point in which I felt bored and I did not want to continue. So, age is very important because based on that we can find activities that students can find interesting, probably a child would like to draw or paint while an adult would prefer to have conversations, write down sentences on their notebooks or do other activities.
