The 3rd thing I learned was the more noise a chip makes, the more you will like it. The 4th thing I learned was you are more likely to pick up a package if it is yellow, red, or orange.          <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Neuroscientists use MRI, fMRI&nbsp; and PET scans to study the brains structure.<br>2. The prefrontal cortex is where you make decisions.<br>3. MRI scans of the brain show that people who have been using drugs for a long time have a smaller prefrontal cortex.<br>4. PET scans use radioactive chemicals, called radiotracers, that are injected into the body.<br>5. Studies show that adolescents who played a game to earn rewards, their bran scans show higher activity in the area of the brain that processes motivation and pleasure compared to the prefrontal cortex. This could overall increase a persons risk for using drugs.</div>]]></description>

<br>1.Today more than half of all calories consumed in the U.S come from “ultra-processed” foods

<br>2.Since the 80’s both obesity and snack industry rates have skyrocketed

<br>3.Companies add fat to their foods so that it can have a “mouthfeel” . Much like biting into a gooey grilled cheese, the fat in processed foods sends a signal to the pleasure center of your brain.

<br>
<br>4.Scientists work in labs to add the perfect amount of sugar to the product. Too much sugar makes you feel full, but just the right amount at the “bliss point” makes you craving more. 
<br>
<br>
<br>5.Food that doesn't have a distinct taste makes you crave it more. Like craving cola… no one can quite describe a specific flavor in cola but it’s very popular.
