         <description><![CDATA[<div>National ELA-students adjust their use of spoken, written, and visual language to communicate effectively with different audiences and for different purposes. <br><br>This is a great activity to have students learn measurements using different sizes of fall leaves. The students can use different items to measure (paper clips, pumpkin seeds, etc.) This is a time for them to explore the concept of measuring.&nbsp;After they are finished measuring, we will come back together as a group and talk about their findings that they have recorded on their worksheets. </div>]]></description>
