I like this quote for many reasons. One of the reasons i like this quote is because how deep it is. to me it means they're sometimes questions in this world that are not going to be answered. It means that not everything is always going to be understood. That even the smartests of scientists won't be able to answer some of the questions we have. I like that fact that there is always going to be a unknown But the quote also includes is that the mysteries are worth examining, meaning we should question things, or try to understand stuff that don't have a definite answer or possibly even make up our own.

For as long as she can remember, Wren Gray’s goal has been to please her parents. But as high school graduation nears, so does an uncomfortable realization: pleasing her parents once overlapped with pleasing herself, but now . . . not so much. Wren needs to honor her own desires, but how can she if she doesn’t even know what they are?

Charlie Parker, on the other hand, is painfully aware of his heart’s desire. A gentle boy with a troubled past, Charlie has loved Wren since the day he first saw her. But a girl like Wren would never fall for a guy like Charlie—at least not the sort of guy Charlie believes himself to be.

And yet certain things are written in the stars. And in the summer after high school, Wren’s and Charlie’s souls will collide. But souls are complicated, as are the bodies that house them . . .
Steamy, romantic, and oh-so-true to life, this is an unforgettable look at first love from one of young adult fiction’s finest writers.

I agree when the book review says that Wren needs to put her own desires before her parents. But there is also a certain limit to that. Yes, a lot of girls in high school want a boyfriends but that doesn't mean to automatically shoot for the hot "bad boy" to make yourself seem cooler. Also, Charlie has had these feelings for wren for so long, and I get that he is nervous, but maybe he could have gotten her as a girlfriend much faster if he had told he had feelings for her way earlier. He didn't know whether or not Wren liked him because she would occasionally flirt with with him, but if he really wanted her to like him he should've went for it a lot faster.

Explanation of Symbolic Image

This picture is symbolic to both Wren and Charlie. It's symbolic because Charlie gets into an accident and has to go to the hospital. Little does he know that Wren is there and is actually going to be one to help him. He has busted his hand up pretty bad and Wren actually was a pretty good nurse. When Charlie gets there Wren is surprised to see him but helps him stitch up his hand. Charlie is happy about this because the girl of his dreams is sitting there stitching him up, and Wren is happy because she gets to stitch someone up and help someone in need. A lot happens in Charlies life, stuff Wren had no idea about. stuff with his family, making money and more. But whenever Charlie thinks about Wren he feels so much happier and better. So not only is she stitching up his hand, shes stitching him up to make him feel better and happier and eventually becomes someone Charlie can open up to easily.
