Specific – To have a fun; small-sized birthday party for a 5 year old and her friends and family with a high level of engagement from the children while also catering to any adults.    

Measureable – through positive feedback received from both children and parents.

Achievable – With the party site being McDonald’s - the party room/playground spaces and happy meals/toys catered to the children and the reserved tables and seating for adults (with coffee) catered to the adults.  

Relevant – must connect to broader organisational goals (or in this case; it connected with my daughter and her wishes/goals).

Time-bound – There was a sense of urgency with a set completion date for the birthday date.
